A lesson that has come from a history of abuse, depression, anxiety, and PTSD is that stress is no longer part of my story. Of course it tries to come visit, but I’m not pulling out the guest towels and making it comfortable. I have learned how to choose happiness, retrain my brain away from negative thinking, and shine in my brilliance.
